The breakfast was warm and fresh made with a good "Full-English " option and the bacon and scrambled eggs, and the main bar was a plus. The hotel was in a favourable location, to get to the canal. Edgbaston district was worth visiting.

Decent location in the right area for us to access Edgbaston cricket ground and easy access to shopping malls and the german Christmas market. Easy walk to a tall tower.

It has cheap airy rooms, that come with sofa bed for child at £ 30 cheaper, an air of shabbiness, a decent shower. Location is magnificent and ideal, in the communal reception area. The staff is welcoming, the breakfast is nice hot and lovely.

Had a perfect 1 night-stay from the moment I checked-in. The rooms were extremely pleasant and great quality and equipped with storage space, an excellant bed plus a decent shower. The breakfast had a huge variety of options and included coffee and cakes.

Charming old hotel, fairly clean, with efficient staff on the reception desk. Amazing and stunning location when travelling to Birmingham. Set just next door to a tram stop, the supermarket and resteraunt in the really comfortable area.

Really had nice stay for a night with my daughters. An ironing set, coffee/tea making machines, and a writing desk in the room, marvellous and decent location. At 20 km distance from the airport.

I liked staying in this top quality great budget hotel. As for me, rooms were very good sized and brand-new with a view of the garden, they offered wake-up service. The location was decent and easy, just next door to central Birmingham, Edgbaston, near Brindleyplace and Botanical Gardens and large supermarket.

There was a very pleasant restaurant approx 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel. Actually everything was nice, my next choice again in Birmingham.
